Fourth Grade Activities

     WOW! Can you believe school is only a week away? I hope you are as excited as I am about getting back to school. I am really looking forward to seeing all of my new fourth grade students.
     There have been great Back-to-School sales going on. I hope you were able to get all of the school supplies you will need for fourth grade. Here is the list as a reminder:

        * 2 folders
        * at least 3 sharpened pencils
        * highlighter
        * box of crayons (no more than 24)
        * scissors
        * glue
        * large pencil case to keep the above items in (no art box because it won't fit in their
          desk
        * colored pencils (if they want)

In addition to the above supplies 4 to 6 tennis balls will also be needed. I am sorry for the short notice. A reminder that clear contact paper is needed to cover all consummable books.
     Here are some important dates to make note of:

        *Wed. Sept. 8th -- Full day of school for Grs. 1-2-3-4
        *Thurs. Sept. 9th -- Full day of school for Grs. 5-6-7-8
        *Fri. Sept. 10th -- Full day of school for Grs. 1 - 8
        *Mon. Sept. 13th -- Opening Day Celebration for Grs. PreK - 8

     On the first day of school please bring a lunch. There is no Hot Lunch program until the week of Sept. 20th. Don't forget to bring the Math and Reading packet that was required to be completed over the summer.
     I hope you have a really fun last week and Labor Day before school begins.
