Hi Everyone!

Here we are in August already!  School days are creeping back into our minds.  Did you start your Reading and Math summer assignments yet?  If not, now would be a good time to get really busy.
I hope you are having some fun too!  What kinds of activities do you like to do? I am enjoying reading this summer and have finished 7 books.  I have taken two summer math classes and am excited to bring my new found ideas to you this coming year.  I have also been doing a lot of running.  Last weekend I ran from the Trenton Makes bridge to Washington's Crossing!  How far do you think that is?
Remember to read something every day, pay attention to the ways you use Math and don't forget to send Mrs. McDowell your postcards! Most importantly, take some time to talk with God.
Enjoy August!  Have fun and be safe.  I am looking forward to seeing your smiling faces in September!

Love,
Mrs. Smith
