A Greeting from Miss Kate...

Walt Disney once said, "If you can dream it, you can do it. Anything is possible as long as you have the courage to pursue it." My experiences in life make me believe this statement to be true.

My teaching career began at St. Bernard School in Philadelphia where I was the technology teacher to grades K-8 for four years. During this time, I made films with my middle school students. This flair for cinematic storytelling developed in me a dream to learn the art of filmmaking.

My next adventure came when I moved to Los Angeles to attend the LA Film School where I majored in Film Direction and Screenwriting. While in LA, I worked on my own film projects and had the opportunity to teach technology to grades K-5 at Woodland Hills Private School in California for two years.

Returning my life to the East Coast once more, I have been busy this summer traveling across the country; mailing my postcards along the way. Though I have made the trip on my own, I have not been lonely as I was kept company on my journey by the many characters in your summer reading novels.

As a new addition to the Holy Trinity Community, I look forward to learning your dreams and working together with you to find ways for you to make them come true.

Enjoy the rest of summer, I will see you in September.

Miss Kate
