Welcome!!
I hope everyone is taking some time to relax and have some fun in the sun. I know I have enjoyed
the slower pace over the past month--I have traveled, and found some time for leisure reading. Of
course, I have squeezed in a few Phillies games as well!
Just
a reminder, all Summer Reading and Math Packets will be collected on the first day of school. It is my hope that
you spread these assignments out over the summer to ensure your best work is done. For the reading books, please
remember we will be discussing the books, completing writing assignments, and taking a test in September. I would
highly suggest to take sufficient notes while you are reading.
Don't
forget to send Mrs. McDowell a postcard from wherever you will be visiting this summer! You can send it to her attention
directly to school. (Osborne and Stockham Avenues, Morrisville, PA 19067).
On a personal note, I look forward to meeting the new 8th graders in September and working with you
as you assume the leadership positions in our school. I am sure the year will be filled with many exciting things! Additionally,
I also am excited to teach the new 6th and 7th graders, and build upon what we learned last year! I can't wait to
hear all about your summer events!
Enjoy
the month of August! Be safe!
See
you in September!
